Cookie Policy

1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage) are used by browsers to store information locally. This policy covers all such technologies, which we refer to collectively as “cookies”.
UK rules on cookies are set out in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent; non-essential cookies do. We do not currently set any non-essential cookies.
2. Cookies We Set Directly
These cookies are set by us and are strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested. Without them, sign-in and basic security cannot function.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| __Host-access | Short-lived JWT access token that keeps you signed in | 1 hour |
| __Host-refresh | Refresh token used to renew your session | 7 days |
| csrftoken | Protects against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) | 12 months |
We also store a single key, cookie_consent, in your browser's local storage to remember that you have seen the cookie information banner. This is not a cookie in the HTTP sense and contains no personal data.
3. Third-Party Cookies (Strictly Necessary)
We use Cloudflare to protect our site against denial-of-service attacks and malicious bots. Cloudflare may set the following strictly-necessary cookies on your device. These are required for the security of the site and PECR does not require consent for them.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots (Bot Management) | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that you passed a security challenge | 30 days |
See Cloudflare's cookie policy for full details.
4. Analytics & Marketing Cookies
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or social media cookies. No data is shared with advertising networks or social media platforms via cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will seek your consent first and update this policy.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: see what cookies are stored, delete some or all of them, block cookies from particular sites, or block all cookies.
Disabling our strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using the site at all. Disabling Cloudflare's security cookies may prevent the site from loading.
For more information on managing cookies in your browser, see aboutcookies.org.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL, with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the site.
7. Contact
